Cameron Richard Shows Leadership in Action

Operations Manager

Danos' Broussard, Louisiana, office recently received a service call for a technician to go to a nursing home to hook up a backup, rental generator from a vendor who had rented the generator to the nursing home. While our tech was on site prepping for the rental generator and evaluating the parts list, his daughter was injured and broke her arm. He needed to leave the site immediately to attend to his daughter. This occurred right at 2 p.m. as the group was locking down the Broussard office and shop to go home to prep for Hurricane Delta.

All other generator techs had already evacuated for the storm or were on their way back from other land jobs. Power Generation Supervisor Cameron Richard immediately put his personal needs aside to take care of the rental generator installation. He gathered parts he thought he would need and headed out.

Once he got to the site, he reevaluated the situation and saw what was needed. He called in the parts he needed to complete the job, and Operations Manager Bart Bergeron was able to round up the parts from the shop stock and bring them to the nursing home in Kaplan. When Bart arrived on site with parts, Cameron was fully prepared to execute his game plan.

This is true leadership in action and once again proving how Danos employees care about our customers and communities. Cameron has been nothing short of a God send to team Danos.
