Donovan Thomas Shows Bias to Action

Danos Lead Operator Donovan Thomas made a good catch when installing catalytic heaters on gas lift lines. In certain areas, these catalytic heaters are attached to piping and are used to heat wet fuel gas lines from freezing, gas lift lines, etc.

To get the heaters to fit properly near the handrails, Donovan had to re-pipe some of the gas lift lines. In doing so, he found they were improperly wrapped with insulation. Donovan noticed that one heater had already been installed, so he removed the heater in order to remove the previously installed insulation.

This could have been a potential fire hazard if it had not been caught. Great job, Donovan, for your Bias to Action!
