Gerald Ardoin Demonstrates Bias to Action

Deepwater Operator Gerald Ardoin was recognized by Oxy leadership for his safe work and commitment on Oxy’s Gunnison asset. Gerald recently submitted an observation identifying a hazard with a water supply line in a closed position. If an emergency situation had taken place, this would have caused an issue. Gerald safely verified that the valve was able to be open and returned the line to service.  

“Gerald’s safety performance has been stellar this hitch. Gerald submitted our 'best catch' observation this past week that involved our firefighting equipment. His heightened hazard awareness and mitigation is playing a vital role in Gunnison’s  success. We appreciate all that Gerald contributes to our team daily,” said Offshore Installation Manager TJ Landreneau.
