Job Well Done for Insulation Crew

Danos Insulator Superintendent Ben Blanchard and his insulation team received an honorable recognition from Danos customer Shell.

The Danos crew was presented with the challenge of removing insulation from a vessel so that the bottom could be inspected for corrosion. The corrosion was mitigated by another contractor on Salsa.

“Ben and his crew not only did great work but did it safely. We in ESA speak about family, and these guys have been a natural fit. They worked seamlessly with all the work groups on Salsa. I don’t know that I can give a higher compliment than that,” said the customer.

After the inspection and new paint job, the team was able to then replace the insulation and restore the vessel back to its original state.
