A Message from Owner Eric Danos

Owner and Member of the Danos Board of Directors

Last week Paul described in an article in The Pipeline the beautiful picture of the strength of a tree. That strength comes from the physical stresses that are put on it by outside forces. The metaphor is a great one. Stress is not something we normally invite into our lives. But, when we handle it correctly, the benefits are significant.

We have a lot of new things today that are pushing us and causing us to grow stronger. Our time over the next weeks and months will be challenging. One of the most difficult things we will have to do is face uncertainty. The executive team is committed to not letting uncertainty be a reason for inaction. We are meeting daily to plan our path forward and to adapt to new things we learn. You will start to see that path taking shape in choices we make about how we will allocate our time and resources over the coming weeks.

There is a positive side to this in that there are tremendous opportunities for those who are strong enough and wise enough to discover them. We have had many conversations in the last two weeks about some of those opportunities. Whether we take action on what seems like small tactical things or big visible things, we will take advantage of this environment to achieve our purpose and vision.

I have three requests of you as we go forward. First and most importantly, you should support your family. Remain committed to what you believed in before things became challenging. And lastly, stay focused when you work.
