Oxy Recognition - Rene Solares

Danos customer Oxy recently recognized Danos Operator Rene Solares for his leadership abilities at Oxy’s Marlin site.  

“This week we were very short handed on the maintenance side as usual, and Rene stepped into a lead role. He managed the crew changing out crane components that were needed to complete other critical tasks. Not only did he complete the job safely and efficiently, but he also played a crucial role in keeping his team safe due to the heat and the factor of working at heights.  

In the two years I have been at Marlin, Rene has handled all tasks with utmost professionalism. Rene is skilled at permits and procedures as well as mechanical knowledge. He plays a big role in the daily operation of Marlin. His work ethic, safety and morals bring out the best in the teams he works with,” said Oxy Mechanic and former Danos employee Bill Zemke.
