Last week, the Danos crew at Chevron’s C-Port 3 celebrated one year of incident-free operations (IFO). 15 Danos employees work at the shorebase, located at Port Fourchon. Danos showed appreciation by cooking lunch for all employees at C-Port 3, and various speakers from C-Port 3, HOS Port and Danos commended the group for their safety culture.
Previously, Danos was incident free for 22 years at the shorebase. However, Chevron wanted to start over to include all groups working at C-Port 3, so they could all celebrate a collective “one team” milestone.
There is a core crew that has been at the location for over five years, which has contributed to their safety success. As you can see in the numbers below, the crew at C-Port 3 are constantly busy, which makes this accomplishment even more impressive.
Truck count: 14,522 per year
Crane lifts: 57,481 per year
Forklift lifts: 119,913 per year
Congratulations to the entire team at C-Port 3, including the following Danos employees:
Gerald Ayo,Tyra Brister, Nicholas Curole, Danny Griffin, Nicky Lacombe, Gavin Landry, Greg Lamulle, Jeremy Moliniare, Shemika Morris, Gareth Mott, Billie Schou, Hailey Smith, Rusty Touchet, and Kevin Wilson.
