Stop Work Authority

Danos Production Operator Nicolas Navarro was recently recognized by Oxy’s leadership team on Gunnison for his stop work authority during helicopter landing officer operations. Nicolas helped prevent the loading of additional baggage that could have led to inaccurate weights being charted for an inbound flight. After identifying the additional bag not included on the manifest, Nicolas helped coach the individual who didn’t have the bag checked in with the medic who was charting for the manifest.
